Not your average bookstore, we specialize in BIPOC books, art, and products. Established in 2020, during the height of the pandemic. Egypt and partner Dorian, who are Flint natives, decided to open Comma Bookstore & Social Hub.  We believe in empowering our community through literacy, programming and culture focused events, that enrich and impact lives.

Comma Event

Saturday October 30th from 5-10PM Comma will be celebrating Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) during Bedrock Halloween Downtown Business Trick or Treat event. 
At Comma, we will celebrate this holiday through music, authentic Mexican food, candy and cultural activities. This is a family friendly event, come dressed in your customes! Those wearing a traditional calavera will receive 10%purchase.
